120-Piece 1/8 Inch Balsa Wood Sticks: Includes 120 square sticks measuring exactly 1/8 x 1/8 x 12 inches (3mm x 3mm x 305mm). This thin profile is designed for fine detailing, lightweight frameworks, and intricate model components.
Delicate Model Construction: The reduced cross-section minimizes added weight, making these balsa wood sticks suitable for dollhouse interiors, window sashes, and miniature railings where bulkier materials would distort proportions.
Precision Hand Cutting: Balsa wood density allows for clean slicing with a sharp craft knife. The material generally does not require heavy cutting equipment, enabling adjustments during assembly.
Surface Finish & Handling: Sticks are sanded to lower surface friction, though slight grain texture may be noticeable upon close inspection. The unfinished surface bonds with adhesives and accepts acrylic paints or wood stains for custom detailing.
Careful Handling & Storage: Due to the narrow 1/8-inch profile, handle balsa wood sticks gently during glue-up to prevent bending. Store flat in a low-humidity area to preserve straightness over time.
